Wellness Coaching: Sara is currently offering online wellness-coaching, consultations, and education services through Symmetry Counseling. Utilizing online video streaming services and/or telephone calls, Sara brings convenient support to you. Sara yokes her passion for mindfulness and education to provide wellness coaching clients with skills and tools to navigate their immediate life challenges. Wellness coaching offers clients the ability to explore, define, and work toward their personal wellness goals. If you are stuck in a rut, in the midst of a life transition, or needing some helpful resources to navigate an unexpected change, wellness coaching can support you in making wise and balanced choices. Wellness coaching tends to be solution-focused, client centered, and in-tune with the present moment.  Sara has helped wellness clients address the following:

  • Creating healthier work - life balance for individuals, couples, and families

  • Education and resource support for parents of LGBTQIA+ children, youth, and young adults

  • Improving self-care choices in seasons of stress

  • Helping LGBTQIA+ clients navigate their coming out process with family, friends, and religious communities

  • Fostering parental advocacy skills

  • Navigating faith transitions

  • Incorporating mindfulness techniques into everyday living

  • Challenging perfectionism

  • Mindfully addressing grief and loss

  • Improving communication patterns between couples and families

Please note, that wellness coaching is NOT therapy. Wellness coaching is not meant to take the place of local mental health resources. While Sara is happy to partner with a client's local mental health provider, wellness coaching does not included a mental health assessment for a mental health diagnosis, is not meant to treat mental illness, and therefore it is not covered by health insurance.
